Not sure if u can help - or if this question is even security related … I can’t seem to find any info, so am curious…
Today, in a hurry, accidently, I started to shut down while still having several windows open. Thankfully, since Outlook was still open, it prevented Vista from shutting down.
A ‘warning’ pop-up window appeared showing the programs still running, and there were four instances of: “SW3 Player Engine © Rubberduck [Debug Window]“. Now, I’m far, FAR from an IT guru, but I’ve never heard of this - nor had much luck online. I finally got 1 Google return after I queried SW3 Player Engine in quotes (w/o the word “Rubberduck”).
The info returned is some kind of Medical Forum re: “Who can help Dr. Hacker” in a “Computers and the Internet” blog … and is in Arabic. I attempted to translate the page, however, much of the info is unclear.
Can you help w/info &/or tell me how to remove it? I can’t even find it on my computer (except listed in the pop-up described above stating that it’s still running).
Many thanks -mj
p.s. I found u via Sec Vulnerabilities blog on technet - hope ya don’t mind this question…
